How to do barcode scanning test on 8 series terminals?

Please follow the instruction below to get into the system menu and make reader testing.

Power OFF the device.
Press "7" + "9" keys simultaneously and power on go to System menu.
Select "3. Tests"
Select "1. Reader"
Scan a barcode.

In system menu, only following symbologies can be scanned.

1D Reader Engine: Code 39, Industrial 25, Interleaved 25, Matrix 25, Code 93, Code 128, EAN 128,
ISBT 128, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, MSI,

2D Reader Engine: Code 39, Industrial 25, Interleaved 25, Matrix 25, Code 93, Code 128, EAN 128,
UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, MSI, GS1 DataBar Expanded, GS1 DataBar
Limited, GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional, Maxicode, Matrix, QRCode, US Planet, US
Postnet, MicroPDF417 and PDF417.
