| Dear all, Because the new Zebra SE5800 scanner engine performs better compared to the older SE4850, Cipherlab will soon offer the SE5800 scanner engine option on the RK95 to provide users with better barcode reading performance. Orders for the RK95 + SE5800 combination can be placed starting on 23th.August.2024. Meanwhile, the RK95 + SE4850 will remain available for orders for one more month. Starting from 23th.September. 2024, we will exclusively supply the RK95 + SE5800, and the RK95 + SE4850 will be discontinued. Reasons for replacing SE4850 with SE5800: 1. The SE5800’s green laser aimer is clearer and more distinct compared to the SE4850. 2. The SE5800 has a better Depth of Field (DOF). 3. The SE5800 has a faster reading speed. 4. The SE5800 has a longer operating time. 5. The SE5800 supports the Chinese 2 of 5 parameter #406, #407, Dot Code parameter #1906, and Aim Mode timeout.
