Yes, 1862 supports Android devices.
Please note that you can only make the Bluetooth HID or Bluetooth SPP connection between the 1862 RFID Reader and Android devices.
If you want to develop an APP to control or configure 1862 from Android devices, please refer to the attached 1800_java_doc and use 186x SDK for Android.
