If the 8300 LCD is changed then please follow the procedures below to solve the upside down issue.
Due to the setting on the 8300 module can’t match the new LCD module, thus the display is upside down. You need to modify the setting of the 8300 module to resolve the issue.
Please note, the new LCD must work with the Kernel V3.33 or later version. The new LCD won’t display correctly if using older kernel.
To solve the Kernel Menu upside down issue,
1.Take off the main battery and put it on again.
2.Press [1] + [7] + Power key to enter Kernel menu
3.Press [1] to show kernel information
4.Press [1] + [7] and enter the password 8647116686471166 to show the menu for S/N, DEV & LCD Change.
5.Press 2 for LCD change.
6.Enter 2, and press the enter key.
7. Press[F9], the old LCD version will be erased from the file system.
To solve the User Program upside down issue,
1. Take off the main battery and put it on again.
2. Press "1" + "7" keys simultaneously and power on to get into the Kernel Menu.
3. Select "1" Kernel Information
4. Press "1" + "5" keys simultaneously.
5. The “Contrast Calibration” will be displayed on the LCD.

to mirror the screen for user program.
The instruction as below shows how to check the LCD setting after the new LCD is changed.
- Take off the main battery and put it on again.
- Press "1" + "7" keys simultaneously and power on to get into the Kernel Menu.
- Select "1. Kernel Information"
- Press "1" + "3" keys to enter the LCD setting menu
