Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure that the device has already been installed in the UHF Gun.

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure that the device has already been installed in the UHF Gun and that the UHF battery level is above 30%.

Note: The Standard Firmware must be upgraded to V1.18 before upgrading the Kernel to V1.02. Otherwise, the upgrade will fail and the UHF Gun may not be able to power on.

Step1: Upgrade User FW
Open EZConfig and select the Settings list from the left panel.

Find “Update Firmware” and click it.

Select the “Download/” path and click it.

Locate the UHF Reader User Firmware that you want to upgrade and select it.

Click “OK”. The system will start the upgrade automatically.

Step 2: Upgrade Kernel Firmware

Locate the UHF Reader Kernel Firmware that you want to upgrade and select it.

Select the “Download/” path and click it.

Click “OK”. The system will start the upgrade automatically.

Step 3: Check Firmware Version

After the upgrade is complete, verify the firmware version to ensure the upgrade was successful.

Click “Device Information.”

Check the “Firmware Version” in the Device Information page.
