2. Scan the following barcodes to enter the setting mode:

3. Depending on the barcodes required, the following steps may vary slightly. Here we use code 39 and EAN 13 as the barcode set for demonstration.
3.1. Set the first code type:
3.1.1. For code 39, scan “4” and then “1” of the Hexadecimal Value (page 194)
3.1.2. Scan 4 zeros: “0000” ( = any code length)
3.1.3. Scan 2 zeros: “00” ( = no matching character required)
3.1.4. Scan “F” twice
3.2. Set the second code type:
3.2.1. For EAN13, scan “5” and then “0” of the Hexadecimal Value (page 194)
3.2.2. Scan 4 zeros: “0000” ( = any code length)
3.2.3. Scan 2 zeros “00” ( = no matching character required)
3.2.4. Scan “F” twice
4. After the barcode set information is given, scan Validate → Enforce Output Sequence

5. The barcode set operation mode should now be enabled.
