FAQ:

  1. If I'm already in recovery mode, do I need to insert the SD card before rebooting to recovery mode to capture logs?

First, power off the device, then insert the SD card. After that, follow the previous SOP to retrieve the logs.

  2. Can I just insert the SD card directly without rebooting to capture logs?

No, you can’t. The logs are stored on the phone and are hard to retrieve without ADB.

  3. Is there a capacity limit for the SD card?

Generally, 2 GB is sufficient. The logs won’t exceed 200MB.
