Frequently Asked Question

Switching connection between Bluetooth and Intelliworker
Last Updated 8 days ago

Please note:
Both Intelliworker and regular Bluetooth pairing use Bluetooth, but they rely on different Bluetooth profiles:

  • Intelliworker requires the WR30 to connect using BT-SPP (Serial Port Profile)

  • A direct Bluetooth connection (outside of Intelliworker) typically uses BT-HID (Human Interface Device)

These two modes cannot be used interchangeably.
One of the most common issues happens when the WR30 is first paired using HID mode, and then someone tries to switch to SPP (e.g., via Intelliworker) without clearing the existing pairing.
This often causes the device to misinterpret the connection type, leading to communication problems.

To avoid this, we strongly recommend using one consistent connection method only—either SPP or HID—but not both at the same time.
