Please make sure and confirm that device has more than 50% battery power to do
system update.

You can upgrade CipherLab Android Terminal via OTA or SD Card.

A. Via OTA
1. Connect the device to Internet.
2. Go to Settings -> About phone -> System updates.
3. At this time, a window will pop up asking you to input the password for system update.
4. Input verification code “23058518”.
5. If there has newer version then your device, the system will pop up message.
6. Click Download to get the newer version package.
7. Click Install to complete the OTA upgrade.


B. Via SD card image
1. Please prepare the latest OS image for SD card.
2. Copy the whole zip file onto the root storage of device.
3. Go to Settings -> About phone -> System updates.
4. A window will pop up and ask to input the password for system update.
5. Input verification code “23058518”.
6. Click Install.
