Please follow the instruction below to do memory erasing.

** Please note, this procedure will delete all of program and data from device.

1. When the terminal is off, press “7” + “9” + Power keys simultaneously to enter the System Menu.
2. Press Power key again to switch off the terminal.
3. Press “1” + “7” + Power keys simultaneously to enter the Kernel Menu.
4. Press ”1” to enter the Kernel Information.
5. Press “Fn” + “9” together about 5 seconds to clear the flash memory
   The screen should show, “Erasing Flash Memory...” and long beeping alarm will sound.
6. Once it is completed, the message, “Erase Complete” will appear.
7. Switch off the terminal again.
8. Switch on the terminal and it should automatically enter the Program Manager.

If 8 series terminals have been set with password, erase memory is the only to reset 8 series
terminals to factory default.
