Although the power off option is not available on corded scanners, one user still found that they need to restart the (VCOM) services on their PC to let 2504 work again.

With this issue, please :

1. Get COM log from end user's IT Admin, and provide to Cipherlab Support engineer.

2. Check if COM services send serial command eg. Disable Scanner.

3. Check if HID mode power off or not. If HID works fine, only VCOM with power off issue, then the issue may cause from COM services.
