How to disable auto pop-up virtual keyboard by default

Go to SIP Controller in App drawer.
Change the default of the SIP Controller with virtual keyboard options: option 1 Null keyboard, option 2 Gboard, then "Start" click the SIP keyboard icon, and "Stop". This will produce the desired effect.
Beware that only the SIP Controller settings should be used, and do not use the system setting in /Physical keyboard/Use on-screen keyboard because this function is fully controlled by the SIP Controller.
